Where do I start keto?
Where do I start keto?
Once you’ve learned the basics about what keto actually is, and have decided that keto is something you want to try, then it’s time to get started.
If that’s you then great. You’re in the right place.
Lazy Keto was created to help people get started losing weight with keto, the lazy way.
What is the lazy way?
1. You only track one thing. How many net carbs you eat per day. That’s it. Set yourself a goal of say less than X many net carbs a day, and track how many net carbs you eat. Most people go with less than 50 net carbs a day, while some go less than 100 and some less than 20. Pick a number and stick with it, you can always adjust later if it isn’t working out.
Dietary fiber doesn’t count either, so if the label says a serving of food has 10 grams of carbs but 7 grams of fiber, then subtract the fiber from the carbs to get 3 net carbs.
2. Eat whatever is easiest. Like to eat processed foods or eat out a lot. Then you too can enjoy weight loss with lazy keto. I do love my big macs, so I just use the mcdonalds app to customize the burger with extra lettuce and no bun. Bam! A keto big mac that is 100% delicious! Have I mentioned the fact that we’re lazy?
Like to eat chicken but don’t want to go through the hassle of making it yourself, just grab a rotisserie chicken on the way home. Problem solved!
Heck there are times when my lunch at work is a hot dog wrapped in a low carb tortilla with a slice of processed cheese. I normally eat two of them for lunch with some cheese sticks and mixed nuts. That lunch literally cannot be any easier and it’s still keto! Plus it’s easy to eat on the go, which is good cause I drive for a living.
